The manufacturing procedure at our specialised development shop
in Longevilles Mont d'Or meets all criteria for authenticity:
The unique copper
tip vats were specifically designed for Fromageries Arnaud. These
800-litre vats allow for the monitoring of the progress in production
for each individual vat and to adapt production requirements accordingly.
The cheese is bound before its salt bath. This gives the cheese
its woody flavour - The Mont d'Or Guaranteed Quality Label.
Fromagerie
Arnaud decided to use only spruce strappings from the Jura
forests rather than from the trees of central Europe.
